The process for sending an SMS is even simpler. As with a fax, your correspondent's name and number can be inserted directly from the Phonebook, and then you type your message. Alternatively, you can copy and paste text directly from an e-mail or file. And no need to worry about how many characters you use, with mobile PhoneTools you can send long SMS (comprising more than 160 characters). As I mentioned before, this whole process is much easier using a computer keyboard than just your mobile phone.
Again you have the choice of sending your SMS now or later. I find it also extremely useful being able to define the phone number I'd like my correspondent to reply to. If, for example, my message concerns getting some information to a colleague, I can enter their phone number so that when my contact replies to my message their new message will automatically be sent to the colleague in question.
If you have an urgent message to send, make sure that your contact sees it the moment they turn on their mobile. By defining your SMS as high priority (just tick the corresponding box), it arrives directly on the screen of the receiving mobile your contact doesn't even have to open the message. You'll appreciate this feature should you want to let your boss know, for example, about that major contract you've just signed with a new client.

From the application main window, display the functions panel (side bar). Click the SMS button. The Send Short Message window appears.
